It’s officially September, a fresh start, a chance to begin anew.

This Creative Visualization and Manifestation Meditation will help you think about what you’d most like to bring about in your future. I used this practice daily years ago, envisioning my dream house and my dream job and within a few months, both of those things had come true.

You may have heard of the Law of Attraction, this idea that what you put out into the world will come back to you. I’m currently reading a book called The Source by Dr. Tara Swart, which essentially shares the latest research in neuroscience and behavioral psychology that supports how tools like creative visualization can release us from self-limiting beliefs and propel us towards our dreams. If you’re a skeptic, give it a read as it may be helpful to hear the science behind how the brain works.

I invite you to listen to this meditation and if you’d like, journal afterwards with the thoughts and feelings that come up for you. A few of the questions from the meditation that you may serve as a prompt:

  • What is the dream that came to mind?

  • What does it look like?

  • What do you look like?

  • How do you feel?

Bring your hands to your heart and take a few deep breaths, imagining this future for yourself. I hope everything you could ever desire comes true.
